TriAmerica Points Series
When you compete in a TriAmerica Event you earn points based on your finish time. All individual finishers will then be ranked in the 2007 TriAmerica Point Standings. The maximum number of points you can earn at any event will vary with the distance of the event. National Series Tour events will also award bonus points. You must finish a minimum of four events in order to be eligible for Series Awards. All finishers wll appear in the rankings regardless how many events they finish. The more you race, the more points you can earn.
The TriKidz triathlons will be ranked separately and will not appear in the overall TriAmerica Point Standings.
The TriAmerica Point Standings Awards Ceremony will take place right after the Great Floridian Awards Ceremony on October 22. Additional information on the TriAmerica Points Standings can be found here.
